WERCSmart registration

Registration concept

WERCSmart is a product registration database company developed by The Wercs in the United States, which provides product supervision for interpretation (36) in the United States and Canada, and facilitates the procurement of products. Retailers and other participants in the WERCSmart program selling, transporting, storing or disposing of your products are facing increasingly complex federal, state and local regulatory compliance challenges. The data contained in the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) provided with the product usually does not contain enough information to comply with these regulations. Registered product range

The retailer determines the registration parameters of each supplier, and the following types of products need to be registered. This list is not complete, so it is recommended that you verify the registration requirements with your buyer:

1.      all products containing chemicals

2.      Over-the-counter medicines and nutritional supplements

3.      personal care products

4.      Products powered by batteries

5.      contains circuit boards or electronic products

6.      light bulb

7.      Food that has been distributed by aerosol or capsule valve

8.      Edible oil

Battery registration

There are two modes of registration atmosphere for battery products:

1.  Registration of batteries not directly sold to retailers

This battery is only used on other electronic products, and this electronic product is sold as an independent brand. This battery does not have a UPC/GTIN code. It is used by the battery supplier to upload it to the WERCSmart system for other electronic product suppliers to link to battery information when registering.

Main information requirements: SDS file (including model, capacity, weight, voltage, 100% ingredient list, CAS number of each ingredient, form, color, smell, transportation method).

2.  Registration of batteries sold directly to retailers

This battery has a UPC/GTIN code and is registered on the WERCSmart system, and the system will pass the relevant information to the lower-level retailer designated during registration.

Main information requirements: SDS file, shipping method, UPC code, packaging method, weight, designated retailer name, retailer's contact phone number and email, qualified supplier ID code.

Series type number: manufactured by the same manufacturer, with the same rated capacity, rated voltage, rated watt-hours, same chemical composition and weight, can be used as a series model.
