What is C-Tick certification?
C-Tick certification is an Australian EMC certification project. When electronic and electrical products enter Australia, in addition to safety signs, they should also have EMC signs, namely C-Tick signs. The purpose is to protect the resources of the radio communication frequency band. Before applying for C-Tick signs, It must be tested in accordance with the relevant CISPR standards, and the Australian importer endorses & submits the report, and the Australian ACA accepts it uniformly and issues a registration number.
Necessity of C-Tick certification
C-Tick certification Australia compulsory certification, general products need to be C-Tick certification, which is equivalent to a product quality approval certificate. Only after certification is made to indicate that the product meets the requirements, can it enter the market and be accepted, and sales will be better.
C-Tick certified product type
According to the mandatory EMC product catalog issued by the government in 2001, the main products involved are:

C-Tick issuing authority
The Australian importer endorses & submits the report, and the Australian ACA accepts it uniformly and issues a registration number.
C-Tick process
1. The manufacturer or agent submits an oral or written preliminary application to the certification company.
2. The applicant fills in the application form, and sends the application form, product manual and technical documents to the certification company (if necessary, the applicant company is also required to provide a prototype).
3. The certification company draws up a plan and makes a quotation.
4. The applicant confirms the quotation, signs back the quotation, and sends the samples and related technical documents to the certification company.
5. The applicant provides technical documents.
6. The certification company issues a fee notice to the applicant, and the applicant prepays the certification fee according to the fee notice.
7. The certification company reviews the technical documents and organizes related certification activities.
8. If the technical documentation is incomplete or the specified language is not used, the certification company will notify the applicant for improvement.
9. If the test fails, the certification company will promptly notify the applicant and decide whether to suspend the project according to the situation and allow the applicant to improve the product. The applicant should make changes to the technical data in the original application to reflect the actual situation after the change.
10. For the rectification costs involved in Articles 9 and 10 on this page, the certification company will issue a supplementary fee notice to the applicant.
11. The applicant shall pay the rectification fee according to the supplementary fee notice.
12. The certification company provides test reports or technical documents to the applicant.
13. Endorsed by the Australian importer&Submit a report to the Australian ACA to apply for a registration number.
