Norway PoHS test

POHS is translated into Chinese as "prohibited specific hazardous substances in consumer products". On June 8, 2007, Norway notified the WTO and put forward the requirement of "prohibiting certain hazardous chemical substances in consumer products", stating that it would restrict 18 substances in consumer products, namely the POHS regulations.

The "Prohibition of Certain Hazardous Substances in Consumer Products" promulgated by Norway came into effect on January 1, 2008, covering almost all consumer products. The new regulations recommend the restriction of 18 substances, of which only 2 (lead and cadmium) are included in the EU RoHS Directive, and 16 substances are prohibited from being used.

Testing products

In addition to electrical and electronic consumer goods, it also includes clothing, luggage, construction, toys, etc. This regulation does not apply to food, food packaging, fertilizers, medical equipment and cigarettes, as well as transportation vehicles, fixtures on transportation vehicles, tires and similar transportation tool accessories.
