What is ICASA certification in South Africa
For wireless communication equipment exported to the South African market, it is necessary to apply for type certification to the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), and only after passing the review can it be sold. This is also equivalent to the domestic network model approval application for South Africa’s ICASA certification. It should be noted that ICASA certification can only be issued to registered companies or representative offices in South Africa. Therefore, domestic manufacturers’ application for ICASA is best done by local importers, but testing can be done. Completed in the country.
