Introduction
Floodlights are lamps that specify that the illuminance on the illuminated surface is higher than that of the surrounding environment. Also known as spotlight. Generally, it can aim in any direction and has a structure that is not affected by climatic conditions. It is mainly used for large-area operation sites and mines, building outlines, stadiums, overpasses, monuments, parks and flower beds, etc. Therefore, almost all large-area lighting fixtures used outdoors can be regarded as floodlights. The angle of the projecting light beam is wide or narrow, and the range of variation is between 0° and 180°. Among them, the narrow beam is called a searchlight.
composition
The floodlight is composed of 3 parts: optical parts, mechanical parts and electrical parts. The optical components are mainly reflectors and light-shielding grids that limit light. The mechanical parts are mainly the housing, and the focusing mechanism for fixing and adjusting the position of the light source, the bracket and the base for fixing the lamp, and the parts with angle indication to adjust the beam projection direction of the lamp. For most of the closed floodlights, the mechanical parts also have protective glass and various sealing rings. According to the needs of the use environment, some also have a metal mesh cover. The floodlight with good performance is also equipped with an air filter. The electrical components are mainly ballasts, capacitors, triggers (designed according to the needs of the light source), etc.
classification
Rotational symmetry
The luminaire adopts a rotationally symmetrical reflector, and the symmetry axis of the light source with rotationally symmetrical light distribution is installed along the axis of the reflector. The iso-intensity curves of this type of lamps are concentric circles. When this type of spotlight is illuminated by a single lamp, an elliptical light spot is obtained on the illuminated surface, and the illumination is uneven; but when multiple lights are illuminated, the light spots are superimposed on each other, which can produce satisfactory lighting effects. For example, hundreds of rotationally symmetrical floodlights are commonly used in stadiums, and they are installed on high towers around the stadium to obtain high illuminance and high uniformity lighting effects.
Two symmetry
The iso-intensity curve of this type of projector has two symmetry planes. Most luminaires use symmetrical cylindrical reflectors, and linear light sources are installed along the cylindrical axis.
A symmetry
The isobaric intensity curve of the luminaire has only one symmetry plane (Figure 2). The luminaire adopts asymmetrical cylindrical reflector or symmetrical cylindrical reflector plus a grid that restricts light. The most typical is the sharp cut-off block retracted light distribution. This kind of light intensity distribution single lamp can obtain a more satisfactory illuminance distribution.
Asymmetrical
The iso-intensity curve of this type of luminaire does not have a plane of symmetry. Mainly use mixed light lamps with different types of light sources with large differences in light intensity distribution and special lamps designed according to the specific lighting requirements of the place of use.
Scope of application
LED floodlights are mainly used in single buildings, exterior wall lighting of historical buildings, interior and exterior lighting of buildings, indoor local lighting, green landscape lighting, billboard lighting, medical and cultural and other special facilities lighting, bars, dance halls and other entertainment venues Atmosphere lighting.
Precautions
High-purity aluminum reflector plate, the most accurate beam, the best reflection effect, symmetrical narrow-angle, wide-angle and asymmetrical light distribution system, open-type light bulb replacement at the back, easy to maintain, all lamps are equipped with a scale plate for easy adjustment of the illumination angle.
LED cast light
1. What is LED flood light?
LED project-light lamp ([span]LED project-light lamp[span]) is also called spotlight, projection lamp, spotlight, etc. It is mainly used for architectural decoration lighting and commercial space lighting. It is heavy, and its appearance is round or square, because heat dissipation generally has to be considered, so its appearance is still somewhat different from traditional floodlights.
Two, LED flood light characteristics:
The commonly used LED floodlights on the market basically use 1W high-power LEDs (each LED component will have a high-efficiency lens made of PMMA, and its main function is to secondarily distribute the light emitted by the LED, that is, secondary Optics), a few companies have chosen 3W or higher power LEDs because of the good heat dissipation technology. It is suitable for lighting in large-scale occasions and buildings. What else should be paid attention to for the flood light?
1. High-purity aluminum reflector, the most accurate beam and the best reflection effect.
2. Symmetrical narrow-angle, wide-angle and asymmetric light distribution systems.
3. The light bulb can be replaced with an open-back type, easy to maintain.
4. The lamps are all attached with a scale plate to facilitate the adjustment of the irradiation angle. Its main application places are probably these: single buildings, exterior wall lighting of historical buildings, building interior and exterior lighting, indoor local lighting, green landscape lighting, billboard lighting, medical and cultural and other specialized facility lighting, bars, dance halls, etc. Atmosphere lighting in entertainment venues and so on.
Three, what is LED flood light
The LED flood light is a point light source that can illuminate uniformly in all directions. Its illumination range can be adjusted arbitrarily, and it appears as a regular octahedron icon in the scene. Floodlights are the most widely used light source in the production of renderings. Standard floodlights are used to illuminate the entire scene. Multiple floodlights can be used in the scene to produce better results. Floodlights are the most widely used light source in renderings. Multiple floodlights can be used in the scene to coordinate their effects to produce better results.
It should be noted that floodlights cannot be built too much, otherwise the renderings will appear flat and dull. Therefore, in the usual rendering of renderings, pay more attention to the impact of lighting parameters and layout on the light perception of the entire renderings scene, accumulate more experience, and master the lighting matching skills.
Fourth, the characteristics of floodlights:
Floodlights illuminate objects uniformly in all directions from a specific point. It is the best analogy to light bulbs and candles. Floodlights can be placed anywhere in the scene. For example, it can be placed outside the camera's range or inside an object. It is common to use many different colored floodlights in the scene at a distance. These floodlights can project and blend the darkness on the model. Because the floodlight has a relatively large illumination range, the illumination effect of the floodlight is very easy to predict, and there are many auxiliary uses of this kind of light, for example, if the floodlight is placed close to the surface of the object, it will be on the surface of the object. It produces a bright light.
